Women are amongst very vulnerable sections in any social order. A large number of them face harassment/violence at the hands of the strangers, family members and other known to them. Such abuse may take place at homes and work places. The violence may be in the form of psychological abuse as well as physical abuse. Victims in most cases cannot take recourse to the criminal justice system for a variety of reasons including the fear of social stigma and lack of knowledge about the institutions that could come to their rescue. 

In Order to provide necessary assistance to such victims, three Women Police Station have opened in three zone (1) NIT Zone in  PS Women NIT, Sec-21 B Faridabad (2) Ballabgarh zone, PS Women B.Garh Ballabgarh (3) PS Women Sec-16, Faridabad in Central zone,Faridabad has been functional. The Women PS is headed by a ACP woman who works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Faridabad. 

Any complainant can file her complaint at any Police Station or to ACsP or DCsP. Such complaints can also be submitted to offices of Jt. CP and CP, Faridabad.
